Like last time if you like fantasy, dwarven aesthetics, or are a nerd that loves gamer geek home decor, cosplay props, or even larping this is going to be a fantastic companion to my other pattern which you can read about here: Fantasy Dwarven Gear Cog Coaster Crochet Pattern and you can also find on my Ko-fi shop as well. I might also bundle this pattern and charge a smaller fee for it in the near future. I just need a bit of a tech and everything break.
This pattern can be made with any sized hook and yarn weight and can be functional outside of a coaster caddy. The companion pattern is designed using the same stitch motifs used in my gear pattern to give it cohesion and consistency, and uses an invisible join frequently. If you do not know how to do this, there is an explanation within the pattern without images. If you need help there are tons of blogs or videos online as well. I don't plan on making this an instructional teaching blog, because it'll detract from my creative process. I thought about teaching at one time, and I am actually currently trail running it with a friend as I teach them to sew, but this isn't exactly something I want to do on a consistent basis.
The yarn pictured in the photos is Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee Soft and Sleek, Tobacco and Stone Grey if anyone is curious. I usually go for Dollar Tree yarn because I'm super poor but the selection is limited color wise and locally I don't have much to work with. Despite this the project with sales included was still low cost and I even have left over yarn. I think in total I spent like $6-7 bucks. It still keeps to the spirit of my low cost budget friendly crafting niche that I am hoping to carve out here. So if you're new to this blog, we're all about art or low cost and low budget crafting adaptations during this period of economic stress.
Well, good night or good week to everyone. I know a lot of folks these days are taking to passive consumption and engagement because of the way things got online between AI and general toxicity. It's okay, I'm oddly fine with this and don't have to have likes and comments on everything, but if anyone has questions you can reach out to me on Ravelry, DA, E-mail, or in the comments below and I'll be happy to help. No pressure to engage. I'm an introvert anyway. :3 lmao...
